The Reunion of the Dean and The Student
Atty. D, Ramos-Datu was not he official Commencement Speaker. Week before the Commencement Day, we have a hard time to find for a Commencement Speaker. We have done two revisions to our invitations. The first attempt was made to Cong. Faisah M. Dumarpa but when serve the official invitations, she was too busy for the incoming elections. We revise on the old one and think of another influential people.
the graduation was schedule on April 2 of that year, however, having no enough time to look for another, because of our major problem in College Admission of our Students. Only 21 of our students who deserve to pass in the MSU-SASE that year. On the reign of Pres. R. de Leon, many were denied. The passing rate was raised from 45-65, thus displeasing 2,700 plus students in the the minority tribe- Maranaw. We faculties accompany our students in their fight to protest in lowering the admission score to the old system of the University. We knock on the doors of proper authority but all were close for negotiations. Hence we finally walked to the door of the President. The was close too.
We rung on the phone of Cong. Macarambon of the second district and he answered us. The result was good that was why, the door of the President of that University was opened. He faced the students, announcing his decision on the graduation day of MSU- University Training Center. After a long day, the outcome was still negative. We went home with our students to prepare for the graduation day, which required us to have only two days to work.Cong. Macarambon whom we regarded as action man, came to our mind. We immediately reproduce the invitations and provide him a copy, reminding him to be our Commencement gust speaker. he was aspiring as Provincial Governor of Lanao del Sur in the 2007 local election. With much ado, he accepted our invitation.
Early morning of the day of our graduations, he called us to be really sorry for not coming because of some reasonable cause and send instead Atty. D. Ramos-Datu. We're glad, though he was not coming but the speaker he provided was also an action man. The Speaker arrive in the affair one hour before the time. We're supposed to start the program at 12:300 in the afternoon but we shared the same stage with the Elementary graduates. The stage decorations were not organized on time.
We directly invited the speaker to the assembly area. As we were set for the program, The dean and the student took their time for recollecting of the past and refreshing old memories. The two departed in 1980 and cross their ways in 2007. Its a total of 27 years which this student was already a grandma, having few line under her eyelids. The two were having much fun, as they catch to listen to limited parts of the program
When the Dean, Atty. D. Ramos-Datu, also known for being one of the Vice Governor of the province deliver his Commencement Address, he has a mixed feeling of joy and excitement. He did not expect such wonderful reunion. Quoting from his speech..." I really cried when I hear the Message Song of the Members, entitled, Parang Kailan lang. That was a very meaningful song that do not defined the program today but even yesterday. As if only yesterday that we're with your School principal. I was expecting our reunion with this most symbolic affair. She has gone far, having this wonderful legacy in life. He has equipped ypu the best, dear students. As I listened to her Address, i understand that she has a hard life organizing the school and now here you are, confirmed to be a successful graduates. You have gone another stage of your life. I congratulates you as i congratulated here for a job well done.....the speech ran in half an hour but the listeners were lively listening to a diary he confessed to the audience, the reunion of the dean and the student.
The speaker did not missed every part of the program. He managed until the distribution of the Diplomas. This is the time for to thank you Sir....! and I hope we can still be reunited in another affair like this.

As a requirement to High
School Curriculum,
the student enjoy with
their Citizen Army Training Course.
Such was the day
that both parents
and students
prepared for their
Academic Exercises.
Contribution of Diplomas
to the students as they
completed the Citizen
Army Training Course.
This ceremony was simple
but it brings a lot memories
to the students. This was the day to recall their hardship as they tried to combat for high school life. The high school life is the the most memorable among our days in school. It holds our age of adolescents and mark our days to challenge the age of maturity. The smile they have now will vanish as they enter the world of complications. As they understand what life must bring, they got confuse and cannot decide where to turn. With just a few steps, they are either in the right path or the other way around. Years and years will past until they discover that they have on the right track or the opposite. The students will be in the diversified life and we cannot guess who may be on top or the reverse. We as mentor has tried to guide them for the rest of their life academically. We just hope they have kept some lines that will help them.
